(AGI) Beijing, April 21 – Cloud computing technology and the smart administration of large urban centres are the focus of two projects aimed at the Chinese authorities to innovate and facilitate decision-making following smart city guidelines. The first project, "Open City Platform", proposes new cloud-based models for the setting-up of sustainable services to citizens, businesses and other administrative offices. The proposed solutions focus on interoperability, transparency and inclusion. The project was developed by E-linking Online Systems, University of Camerino, Sistemi territoriali, Seda Spa, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, Filippetti, Apra Progetti, Lascaux, Almaviva, Italsoft, Phoops, Jef, Logix, Sined, Agenzia espressi, 3D Informatica, Pluservice, Halley Informatica, Esalab, Maggioli, TD Group and Santer Reply. The second, "Decision Theater", envisages platform to process complex data, enabling the Public Administration to follow smart city guidelines in its decision-making. The innovative models include plans for the development of cities, for making investments and for assessing impacts at economic and social level. The project was developed by Telecom Italia, University of Genoa, Italtel, Selex, Assioma.net, Politecnico di Torino, ICampus, Bicocca University Milan, Sas Institute, Nextage, Servizi Speciali, Seac02, Tra, Network Integration & Solutions.
